- Purpose: We use your approximate location strictly to fetch real-time weather updates for your general area.
- Processing: This data is processed dynamically and sent directly to our third-party weather data provider (Open-Meteo).
- Storage: We do not track your location in the background, nor do we store or share your historical location history.
2. Third-Party Services and SDKs
To provide specific functionalities, trace app performance, and support app sustainability through advertisements, BigButton Dial™ utilizes trusted third-party software development kits (SDKs). These external providers may collect information used to identify your device.

3. Device Permissions Required
To function effectively as an accessibility dialer and launcher, the App may request the following system permissions:
- Location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Required to retrieve local weather data. This grants the app an approximate idea of your location (such as city or neighborhood) to populate the weather widget without tracking your precise pinpoint coordinates.
- Telephony / Phone (CALL_PHONE): Required to allow the user to initiate direct phone calls via the large button interface.
4. Log Data, Analytics, and Error Reporting
To ensure high performance and refine our accessibility interface, the App automatically logs basic diagnostic and analytics data via Google Play Console and Firebase Analytics. This data may include your device's anonymized mobile tracking identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), device name, operating system version, internal app event counts (e.g., taps on specific buttons), and the time and date of your use. This information is entirely pseudonymized and aggregated; it cannot be used to identify you personally and is utilized solely to fix bugs and enhance usability.
5. Children's Privacy
BigButton Dial™ is explicitly designed for seniors and general accessibility purposes. It does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our local configurations.

7. Data Control & Deletion
Because BigButton Dial™ does not use user accounts or store personal data on external servers, there is no user data for us to delete.
